SEATTLE, WA, USA & NEW DELHI, INDIA | May 8, 2025 - Amrita‑Seattle, a Washington‑based nonprofit serving at‑risk children and youth in the United States, India, and Nepal, today announced a strategic partnership with Project Concern International – India (PCI India) to conduct a comprehensive impact evaluation of the organization’s global initiatives.
“Our mission is simple: every child deserves the chance to thrive,” said Sharmila Pal, CEO of Amrita‑Seattle. “We are partnering with PCI India – a recognized prominent leader in social impact measurement and learning, dedicated to empowering communities in India since 1998. Together, we will conduct an organization‑wide evaluation to answer the most pertinent question we can ask ourselves: Are we truly improving changing the trajectory of young lives as effectively—and as efficiently—as possible?”
Why this evaluation matters?
-
Mission alignment: We serve children and youth facing significant socio‑economic risk. Rigorous inquiry will ensure every program dollar advances that mission.
-
Learning & adaptation: By pairing qualitative insights from the field with quantitative analysis, we will identify what works, amplify bright spots, and reshape under‑performing activities.
-
Accountability to stakeholders: Transparent, third‑party evidence will support our donors, volunteers, and community partners in seeing the true return on their investments of time, talent, and resources.
We’re excited to translate evidence into action because our children deserve programs that keep getting better.
